Midtown Apartment

Cramped and dated, this apartment was in desperate need of a complete renovation. Our design sought to bring coherence, flexibility, and refinement to a small space. To this end, we reconfigured the layout of the kitchen and bathroom to maximize their size, created a proper entry with floor to ceiling storage, and carved out a second bedroom. Our client, a visual artist, brought her affinity for color to the space, and built many of the custom pieces including the wall-mounted desk and the pipe rail kitchen island.
