Specializing in design for both the city and country, Jill creates spaces that evoke joy, feel true to place, and reflect her clients’ aspirations. With a background in the fine arts, she designs with a sensitivity to scale, proportions, and composition, and imbues her interiors with light and color. Her designs are elegant and inventive, evolving from an engaged, collegial rapport with her clients.

About

Jill received her Master of Architecture degree with distinction from Harvard University in 2000, and her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1994. She also studied at the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture. Prior to starting her own practice, she honed her skills working on award-winning projects at both large and small firms including Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Office dA, and Ellerbe Becket. Her experience ranges from large scale urban planning projects to museum installations and modern residences.

Services

Working from Brooklyn, NY, and Litchfield County, CT, Jill provides both architectural and interior design for new construction and renovation projects. The scope of work is tailored to meet the needs of each project, and is typically delivered in four phases starting from pre-design and ending with construction administration.
